Please join the Goethe-Institut Chicago, DANK Haus German American Cultural Center, and the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center for a screening of 2022 children’s film Der Pfad (The Path).

This touching story follows a young boy, a girl, and a dog who together must navigate a hazardous path through the Pyrenees and into Spain in order to escape the Nazi occupation in France.

The film is recommended for ages 8 and up.

This event will take place in the DANK Haus's ground floor Treffpunkt space. From 12:00pm – 12:30pm, all are invited for a light pizza lunch. The screening will run from 12:30pm – 2:00pm.

This program is free and open to the public, and although advanced registration is not required, please RSVP to help us plan accordingly.
